Sophie goes to class

Come on Sophie, Smile for the camera!
Ingrid and Sophie went along to their first ‘Baby and You’ class today. It’s basically a weekly discussion group with a bunch of new mothers and babies to discuss anything and everything about babies.

I was a bit concerned about Sophie sitting through a two hour couse with Ingrid, but I didn't need to worry at all, she farted just once, and only made 2 rude gestures behind the tutors back…Sophie must have been embarrassed surely, as all the other mothers were so well behaved! All in all though, it was a worth-while class. The tutor gave them some good advice when it comes to the sleeping and feeding patterns of both girls, but most of all, gave them some much needed reassurance that everything we’re experiencing is absolutely normal.

Sophie and Ingrid got home around 1pm just in time to see off my two sisters Nicky and Rochelle - the both of them were heading back to New Plymouth after a fleeting 24 visit, it was great for them to meet Sophie though. Mum and bubs then had a HUGE sleep in the afternoon which gave me time to get some work stuff done. Sophie finally awoke after more than 4 hours sleep and we both thought – "you beauty!" she obviously took something from the class! As it turned out, she was simply teasing us, as it then took an additional three hours to get her back to bed again…babies aye.
